WHEN SHOULD YOU SEE AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST?

Even if you have not experienced any eye problem in past, you should see an ophthalmologist if:

  • you experience a change in vision in one or both eyes, such as blurring, double vision, blind spots or flashing lights
  • you experience pain, persistent irritation, itching or a sensation of foreign body in the eye
  • you have problems of occasional conjunctivitis or red eyes
  • you have problems of a lot of tears or no tears
  • you have a growth on the eyelid or your eyelid is incorrectly placed
  • you have diabetes
  • you are above the age of 40
  • you have a family history of glaucoma

Diagnose your problem before it is too late.
