Accommodation Facilities

Patients who require surgery or monitoring after the surgery, will be required to get admitted in the hospital. There are different types of rooms at the hospital which patients can chose depending upon the availability.
Due to the technical advancements, today many surgeries are done as day care procedures meaning the patients have these procedures do not need to stay in the hospital post surgery.

Discharge Procedure

Patients are requested to vacate the room before 10.00 am on the day of discharge. Instructions regarding post operative care, medication, discharge summary will be explained by the ophthalmic assistants at the time of discharge.

Catering services

Food is catered to the patients and their attendants in the ward. Dr. P. S. Hardia Advanced Eye Surgery Research Institute’s catering staff runs its own cafeteria, where you can order snacks and meals.

Medical shop and Optical shop

The medical shop and optical shop are located in the hospital premises only, which function from 8.30 am – 7.00 pm on all working days (Monday to Saturday) and 9.00 am – 1.00 pm on Sundays (medical shop only).

Visitors

The hospital requests all the patients and their relatives to maintain a quite ambience.

Security instructions

You are advised not to bring valuables with you to the hospital. Do not hand over money and valuables to strangers. For the safekeeping of your cash, you may deposit your cash at the Cashier’s Office and get a receipt for the same.
Hospital staff

During your stay you will come in contact with many hospital staff such as – doctors, nurses, counselors, housekeepers and sanitary workers. All of them are working round the clock to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please avoid giving tips and gifts to the sanitary workers and other staff in the hospital.
